Public GitHub project
An eligible public repository identity that opub can register, claim, fund, and track.
A public GitHub project is the repository identity opub can register, claim, fund, and track. It gives donated compute a public project home instead of attaching funding to a private account or one person's tool setup.
In opub, public GitHub projects make eligibility understandable for donors and maintainers. Donors can find an open source project to fund, and verified maintainers can connect that project to compute keys for model work.
The project identity comes from a public repository. Private repositories, private workspaces, and personal provider accounts are outside the project identity opub presents to donors.
